Calling all Gumshoes!

Hello Gumshoes!

We are off to a great start with our book blog and several of you have already left a message in our "Case Reports."

Did you know that when you click on any of the "Case Reports," you can see what other detectives have said and you can even reply to what they have posted?

Check it out and see what other detectives are saying about books.

Don't forget, when you finish reading a book in each level, you need to complete the "Challenge Card" in the yellow packet to match that level.

I hope you'll check back later and see some of the great books that I have been reading.

Keep up the good work, Gumshoes!

From The Agent-in-Charge,
Mrs. Murphy

I read "Grandpa's Teeth," by Rod Clement. In the book, Grandpa loses his teeth and then gets new ones. I thought this book was pretty funny because Grandpa was talking silly.

  7. Edward,

I'm glad you pointed out that Dog Diaries takes you to other places and times. A good author has to work really hard to help the reader imagine the places and times in the story. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  8. Gita,

It's a good thing that Cam Jansen has a photographic memory and can remember everything she sees! That helps her solve mysteries. I wish I had a photographic memory!

  9. This book was just ok because the main characters were animals. The main characters were Chester the cat,and Harold the dog. It was a prety long book. It had ninty-eight pages. This book is Bunnicula By James Howe.

Bunnicula was a funny comedy book. I liked when Harold thought Mr. Monroe had been bitten by Bunnicula. His pale skin truned out to be "shaving cream!"

    Pale Male

Pale Male was about the adventures of a hawk.

It made me sad how Pale Male's first mate broke her wing and went to the animal shelter. What made me more sad it was non-fiction.
